Your first steps after launch

Your site is already live, so the hardest part is behind you. Before you get back to your day-to-day business, we want to walk you through what happens over the next few days — so no email from us catches you off guard.

The revision period starts on launch day (14, 30 or 60 days, depending on your package). It's a good time to go through the site carefully and report anything that doesn't work the way we agreed, along with any content you still want changed, since we do that free of charge during this period — details in What's included in ongoing support, and what's billed separately.

Have the Business Card package, a site without the panel?

Then the rest of this article doesn't apply to you — we make content changes for you. How to request them is described in Changes to your site without the panel.

If your package includes the panel

There's one task left: getting you set up in the panel where you edit your own content. At launch we always offer free training on how to use it, and the steps below will help you get ready for it and come back to later.

What happens, step by step

First we'll send you access, then you'll log in, and finally we'll confirm together that everything works as it should:

How long it takes

Realistically, the whole process takes maybe fifteen minutes of your time, spread across an invite email and one short login. There's nothing to prepare in advance — just keep an eye on the inbox we agreed on when signing the contract.

Start by checking that inbox: How do I get access to the content panel?
