What is a CMS and do I need one?
A CMS (content management system) is a panel where you edit your website's content yourself — text, photos, prices, opening hours — without needing to know how to code, and without asking a developer for every small change.
When is it useful?
A CMS makes sense if:
- your offer, prices, or working hours change from time to time
- you want to add news, blog posts, or new projects yourself
- you value being independent from your developer for small updates
If your site is meant to be a simple business card that rarely changes, a site without a CMS works just as well.
Which packages include the panel
The content panel comes with the Professional and Expert packages. Business Card doesn't have it — in that case we make content changes for you, and Changes to your site without the panel explains how to request them. Some add-ons, such as a blog or an editable client-reviews section, need the panel, so we tell you that before we quote. Which package to choose is your call — the comparison is in Packages.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. A CMS panel looks and works much like a text editor or email inbox — you click, type, and save.
What we take care of
If you choose a package with the panel, we always offer a short panel training session at launch, free of charge. We show you, on your own site, where everything is and how to publish a change, so you know how to use it from day one.
We don't write the content for you. We prepare the site's structure, and what goes into it and how it looks is your decision — with the panel, after launch too, without asking us for every tweak.
