Pre-launch checklist
Before your site goes live at its final address, go through this list. We discuss most of these points together along the way, but having them in one place helps avoid a launch waiting a week for one missing document.
Content
The text on the site comes from you; we only prepare the layout it goes into. Look through the draft the way your client would, and check:
- all text is final, with no "to be completed" markers
- placeholder photos have been swapped for yours, or are knowingly staying for launch
- your service descriptions and prices are up to date
- if the site has a second language version, the translations from you or your translator are ready
Contact details
A typo in a phone number costs more than one in a service description, so this one is worth checking twice:
- phone number, email address, and the address of your practice or office
- opening hours
- the email address where contact form messages should go — the form works in every package
Legal documents
- the terms and privacy policy from your lawyer are ready and sent to us — we don't write these documents, but we add them to the site before launch (see How to update your terms and privacy policy)
A cookie consent banner is optional. If you want one, we use a ready-made service such as Cookiebot or CookieFirst — we can create the account there on your behalf, configure the banner and hand the access over to you, but the subscription to that service is always paid by you, directly to its provider. Whether you need a banner depends, among other things, on the tools running on the site; we cover the basics in GDPR and cookies.
Domain, hosting and email
- you have a domain and have given us access to it — on Business Card, following Domain and hosting, step by step
- if you have email on your own domain: the list of addresses is ready, and the email provider account is paid with your card (see Email on your own domain)
Panel and integrations
These points only apply to packages with the panel, or to add-ons you've chosen:
- a list of people who should get an invitation to the panel, with their email addresses
- access to, or links for, the accounts we connect to the site: Booksy, ZnanyLekarz, Google Business Profile
Once everything is ticked off, all that's left is setting the launch date. What happens after that is covered in Your first steps after launch.
