How does working with us look, step by step?
From the first conversation to publishing the site we go through five stages, and after launch the revision period begins. Here it is in short:
1. Brief
We talk about your business, your clients and the goals for your site. We agree on the package and add-ons, and gather your materials and everything else we need to work. Which features and integrations end up on the site depends on the package and the add-ons you pick — the full list is in the price list on bbdigital.pl, and we summarise it in Packages.
2. Design
We prepare a design for the site that fits your industry and image — colours, layout, style — along with the template your content will go into. We don't write the text for you, but at every stage you decide what the site says and how it looks.
3. Draft in 5 working days
Within 5 working days of receiving your materials we show you a working draft of the site. You can look through it at your own pace and tell us what you'd like changed. From there, the pace depends mostly on how quickly your feedback and any missing content come back to us, which is why we agree on a specific launch date at the brief.
4. Revisions
We collect your feedback and make the changes. We repeat the revision round until the site is exactly as it should be. Before launch we also add the terms and privacy policy prepared by your lawyer — we don't write those documents.
5. Launch
We publish the site at its final address, with an SSL certificate, which is standard in every package. The domain and hosting are bought in your name. In the Professional and Expert packages (or with the "Domain and hosting setup" add-on) we configure them for you; in Business Card you set them up yourself following Domain and hosting, step by step. If your package includes the content panel, we always offer free training on how to use it at launch.
After launch: the revision period and optional care
The revision period starts on the day the site goes live: 14 days for Business Card, 30 days for Professional and 60 days for Expert. During that time we fix bugs in what we built together and make content changes free of charge. After that you can sign up for ongoing care as a separate subscription, or order changes from us one at a time, quoted at our current hourly rate — the difference is explained in What's included in ongoing support, and what's billed separately.
