How do I edit my homepage

Before anyone reads a word about what you offer, they'll see two lines at the very top of your homepage — a big heading and a subtitle under it. That's your first impression in its purest form, so it's worth making it concrete: what you do and who for, not just something that sounds nice.

From top to bottom, the homepage has three parts: a banner with the heading, a services section and — if your site shows testimonials — a section with client testimonials. In the Homepage (Strona główna) document in the panel you edit only some of them; the site assembles the rest from other places.

Heading and subtitle

The "Main heading (hero)" field (Nagłówek główny (hero)) is the big text on the dark banner. It's a required field. The panel will still save the document without it, because the draft always saves, but the Publish button stays inactive until you fill it in.

The "Hero section subtitle" (Podtytuł sekcji hero) is optional. Leave it empty and nothing appears under the heading — the button just moves up. In practice it's almost always worth adding — it's the place for a sentence or two expanding on the heading's promise. A dentist might mention no waiting lists and no fear of the chair, a lawyer that the first consultation is free, a coach exactly which problem they help solve.

The button on the banner

Below the heading there's one button. It usually says "Dowiedz się więcej" (Learn more) and leads to your Contact page. If Booksy booking is set up on your site, it says "Umów wizytę" (Book an appointment) instead, and scrolls straight to the booking calendar on the Contact page.

You can't change either the label or the destination of this button in the panel — it's part of the template. If you'd like it to lead somewhere else or say something different, write to us. That kind of change is usually a small job; more about that in bug or new feature?.

Below the banner is the "Nasze usługi" (Our services) section, with the short line "Sprawdź, w czym możemy Ci pomóc" (See how we can help you) and a "Zobacz wszystkie usługi" (View all services) button. Those three texts are fixed. What you do edit is which services appear in it.

In the "Featured services" field (Wyróżnione usługi) you choose services from the list you maintain separately (see how to add or edit a service). You don't retype names or descriptions here — you just point to existing services and drag them to set the order. You can pick at most six. Each card shows the service's icon, title and short description; the service photo doesn't appear here.

If you leave this field empty, the site won't leave a gap. It shows the first three services by their "Display order". If you don't have any services yet, the whole section disappears.

Remember, this is meant to be a selection, not the full list. Clients will find every service on the services page anyway, which the button below the cards links to.

Client testimonials

If your site has testimonials switched on, a "Co mówią nasi klienci" (What our clients say) section appears below the services. It isn't part of the Homepage document — it shows every entry from the Testimonial (Opinia) list, and if that list is empty, the section doesn't appear at all. Homepage SEO

The homepage also has its own SEO tab. Its Page title decides what people see on the browser tab and in Google when they search for your business name — we explain how in how to fill in the SEO tab.
