Email on your own domain

Your site and your email share the same address, but they live in different buildings. The hosting your site runs on doesn't include mailboxes — to have an address like contact@yourcompany.com, you need a separate email service connected to the same domain.

Is it in my package?

Setting up email on your domain is included in the Expert package. In Business Card and Professional you can add it as an add-on — the price is in the price list. In both cases this covers our work setting up the email. The mailbox subscription itself is a separate monthly cost that you pay directly to the email provider.

Which provider

To start with, we recommend Google Workspace. It's the easiest option to set up: you read your mail in the browser, in the Gmail app on your phone, or in Outlook or Apple Mail, and the same account gives you a calendar, Drive and Meet straight away. If you already use Gmail privately, you'll feel at home.

It's not the only route. If your business runs on Office and Teams, Microsoft 365 may be the more natural choice. And if you need email alone, without office tools, simpler mailboxes are an option too, for example with Hostinger or Zoho Mail. Providers change their prices often, and some are promotional for the first year only, so check the chosen service's price list before you decide, including the renewal price.

Who does what

The account with the email provider is yours — we open it in your name (or help you open it), and you pay for it with your own card. We handle the technical part: connecting the domain, adding the required entries to its settings, creating the mailboxes you want, and checking that mail goes out and comes in. Finally, we hand the login details over to you.

After the handover, we don't keep the passwords to your mailboxes and we don't manage them. A password reset, a new mailbox or a plan change are things you sort out in the provider's panel or with their customer support. That's deliberate: your email shouldn't depend on whether we happen to pick up the phone.

Before launch, prepare a list of the addresses you want, and keep a payment card to hand — providers require one when you open the account.
