How do I add a customer testimonial

This guide only matters if your site has a client testimonials section — not every project uses one. You'll know by the Testimonial (Opinia) item in the panel menu.

For a practice, a law firm or a coaching business, testimonials are often the strongest argument your site can make — stronger than any description of your own offering, because they come from someone who has already used your services. Testimonials appear on the homepage, in the "Co mówią nasi klienci" (What our clients say) section, below the services.

Author and testimonial text

"Author's full name" (Imię i nazwisko autora) is a required field. On the testimonial card, a circle with the first letter of the name appears next to it — the site doesn't show authors' photos. The "Author's position / company" field (Stanowisko / Firma autora) is optional and appears in smaller type under the name, e.g. "Patient since 2020", "Corporate client", "Mentoring programme participant".

"Testimonial text" (Treść opinii) is required too. You type it as plain text, without formatting — genuine, specific sentences work far better than generic praise. Before you publish someone's testimonial with their full name, make sure they're happy for you to do so.

Rating

"Rating" (Ocena) is the third required field: you choose a number from 1 to 5 from a list, and the same number of filled-in stars appears above the testimonial text. Without a rating, the panel won't let you publish the testimonial.

Order and layout

The number in the "Display order" field (Kolejność wyświetlania) works just like with services or team members: the lower it is, the earlier the testimonial appears. Testimonials without a number go to the end. The homepage shows every published testimonial, so if one no longer fits, delete it or unpublish it.

On a computer, the layout depends on how many testimonials there are:

  • 1 or 2 testimonials sit side by side
  • 3 testimonials form a single row
  • 4 testimonials are arranged in two rows of two
  • 5 testimonials are three in the first row and two centred below them
  • 6 or more continue in rows of three

3 or 6 testimonials look best, because they fill complete rows. On a phone, the cards always stack one below another. As long as the list is empty, there's no testimonials section on the homepage at all — unless you have the Google rating switched on. Then the section shows just its heading with the badge described below.

Your Google rating

The testimonials section can also carry a "Google rating" badge with your business's average rating, e.g. "4.8 ★ na Google Maps · zobacz wszystkie opinie" (on Google Maps · see all reviews), linking to your profile on Google Maps. The badge shows only the average — it doesn't pull the number of reviews or individual reviews, so you still add testimonial cards in the panel. The rating itself isn't edited in the panel: the site fetches it from Google whenever it rebuilds, which is at least once a day.

The badge is off by default. We switch it on and configure it separately for each site, because it needs some setup on the Google side. Whether it's available to you depends on your package and chosen add-ons — check the price list or ask us. You can read more about the profile in Google Business Profile and reviews.

If your site has a gallery, the last guide in this section is for you: how to add photos to the gallery.
